Southwest Decatur is home of the beautiful new Jack Allen Recreational Complex in Decatur, Alabama. The complex includes 10 international size, lighted soccer fields with certified, laser graded turf and internal drainage.
Jack Allen boasts two championship fields with wireless scoreboards, top notch aluminum fencing, grandstand seating, complete concession building and hands-free restrooms. The soccer fields all have lighting equal to 50 Foot-candles which is
television quality lighting. The championship fields are lit to 60 Foot-candles. All fields are laser graded with a 1 degree slope from side to side ensuring " perfect pitch" for soccer balls. Grass is certified SportsTurf with built-in
computer run irrigation (sprinkler) system.
PARK RULES
NO COOLERS, ICE CHESTS, ALCOHOL, GLASS CONTAINERS, SKATEBOARDS, SKATES, SCOOTERS, BICYCLES OR PETS ALLOWED.
Opens at 7 AM
Closes at 4PM
Monday-Friday Hours may be extended for City authorized
events.
Hours also subject to change on weekends.
