Welcome New Employee

Decatur Parks and Recreation welcomes our newest employee, Tom Boric, who brings experience, maturity and an appreciation for recreational activities.
Tom was born and raised in Yugoslavia (now Croatia) the first thirteen years of his life until his family and he immigrated to Winnipeg, Manitoba in Canada. Following his grade school education he was awarded a full scholarship to play soccer at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia. With this, Tom continued the family tradition of his father and his grandfather playing soccer. His university experience was cut short when he was drafted to play goalkeeper for the Calgary Boomers of the North American Soccer League and later the Tampa Bay Rowdies in Florida.
Tom then decided to move away from soccer and enter the world of professional wrestling when he began training at a school in Tampa, Florida. This began his many years of professional wrestling (1981-2001) under the name of Paul Diamond. Other ring names included Venum, Kato, Haito and Max Moon.
In 2001, Tom opened the Paul Diamond Hard Knocks Pro Wrestling Academy in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada, and has also been active with Rocket City Wrestling in Huntsville, Alabama.
Tom is married to Lisa and they have two children.
