Concerts by the River is a free concert series that offers a wide variety of musical styles in a family-friendly setting. Sponsored by the City of Decatur Parks and Recreation Department, the concert series begins the first Monday in May with concerts being held each Monday until Labor Day. (No concert on Memorial Day or on Monday, July 2.)
Concerts are held at beautiful Rhodes Ferry Park on the banks of the Tennessee River and take place from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm. Guests are invited to bring blankets, lawn chairs and picnic baskets. Per Decatur City Ordinance, alcohol is not permitted in the park and pets must be leashed according to City laws. For more information call 256-341-4818.
