This site offers a variety of information for the chess enthusiast, but that is small beside the wealth of information about chess.  Also, surfing the Internet one will discover excellent web sites of local clubs.  Our web site is just setting sail in this ocean of information!  As our club grows this spot on our web site will feature more news and interests for Decatur-Morgan County and area enthusiasts in North Alabama.  Already, we have a membership pending before the Alabama Chess Federation, and arrangements being made for our very first invitational chess tournament this Summer!  And soon, we will unveil our club logo!
